A major rehabilitation of very rundown Main Street building to provide a very much needed core area grocery outlet. Parts of the original façade and the roof structure were salvaged, but a new second floor structure was required, as was the rear wall and enclosed parking area. Pressed-tin ceiling panels were repurposed on the new storefront, as well as on the face of the cash checkout. The second floor contains offices for the Main Street Project, a social agency focused on assisting residents in the area.
